Hydroxyethyl Cellulose / HEC

Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) is a gelling and thickening agent derived from cellulose.

HEC is a non-ionic, water-soluble material that provides properties such as thickening, binding, emulsifying, film-forming, stabilizing, dispersing, and water retention.

It is considered an outstanding thickener for both interior and exterior latex paints. It is used in coatings, jamb and paint applications.

HEC provides fluidity to the paint while also being perfectly compatible with colorants, emulsions, surfactants, defoamers and preservatives.

H 100 K

is a non-ionic, water-soluble polymer used in water retention and rheology modifier in water-based paints. It is a high viscosity hydroxy ethyl cellulose.

H 30 K

is a non-ionic, water-soluble polymer used in water retention and rheology modifier in water-based paints. H30K is a medium viscosity hydroxy ethyl cellulose.

250 HHR

is a viscosity and rheology modifier used in all types of water-based paints and surface coatings.
